I'm currently infatuated with Thea Gilmore's music (well, the snippets I can yoink from her website, anyway). Particularly Resurrection Men and This Girl is Taking Bets, and Avalanche is just beautiful. She's now on my list of "people whose music I need to purchase if only I had money with which to do so".
Well, that, and remember to actually buy some CDs when I do have money. (Like now, but it's allegedly on one side for Europe. Which I still haven't booked. Damnit).
Spent most of today re-watching episodes of Lost after figuring out how to connect my laptop to the TV (oh, that involved a lot of guesswork). My bandage-wrapped knuckles, pale imitations of Charlie's, got a repair too with some new surgical tape and a once-over with a Sharpie (they still read FATE, but now in much larger letters).
My ear piercing, the one giving me hassle, has finally started to heal (though writing thusly will probably guarantee I'll wake up with it dropping off) having gone at it with some trea tree oil. That really seems to have done the trick.
Now I'm going back to wading through Tehanu, the fourth Earthsea book.
