You know what's fucking annoying?

This "I don't watch television" snooty bullshit that people pull. As if you're so much more fucking intelligent if you don't watch television. If you don't own a television that's great, nobody needs one.

Television is for entertainment. It's for information. It's for education. It is not fucking evil. It does not rot your brain. If you sit in front...

I think I may have finally accepted the fact that I am indecisive. I always have been and will continue to be. It's not something I particularly like about myself but I just don't think I can change this.

Although, I'm not sure if "indecisive" is really the right word for it. It's more like I like so many different things that I can never...

I've always had an aversion to people giving other people labels. As if even the most basest human being could be described with a single word or phrase, or even the constrictive connotations that a word or phrase holds. Generalizations are of course important for communication, but not for identification.

Like you, I had dreams in high school of being the rule breaker, the one who would inspire people through my actions that they need not subscribe to a certain lifestyle or even the cookie cutter identities that they sell corporate retail stores. That went away after a while when I realized that I couldn't ever really kick my ability to live outside rules and social norms.

You're a cool person.
artchick:
That's why I didn't change it. wink

Well it feels pretty soft to me.

Then I feel pretty blissfully.

Can't stop the dance.

I want to find a club in LA that will play this so I can not-park on their dancefloor.

oh Joscelyne. way to beat the system.

okay so here is my invention:

i want to go jogging or running. on a treadmill, but i want to feel like i'm outdoors. so imagine a screen with a display of a paved road along a mountainside.

now imagine that in virtual reality glasses.

but i would get bored seeing the same thing everytime so what...

hmmm pehaps the player would be linked to the speed of the tredmill like a dvd player? ya know how you can adjust the speeds by pressing buttons and the likes, it should be the same way when you are running and jogging and walking.
Also for the other cities you could always get someone to film them and then put them to dvd.
Imagine a DVD player thing linked to the tredmil and the virtual reality glasses were like a wrap around you head deal so as it would cover the sides of your head.
The dvd would have like a 16 disc changer and would be voice activated so you could be running with the bulls in spain and then shout out safari and be in africa running with elephants and lions and stuff!

I think that would be rad.

thats my idea smile

as i try to fill
all of my empty days,
i stumble round
on through my memory's maze.
of all my past,
only the sadness stays.

i went moping down by the bridge
i rode a bike in the snow to the mini-mart
i thought of the ways
that i have broke my own heart

i have a "to do" list.
that should keep me...

i think the real problem i have is that often times i can't decide if i should be listening to my heart or my head.

on one hand my head knows what it's talking about. it's safe, it protects me, it tells me when i'm being stupid,

but how can you deny your heart? what it wants? it brings feelings and wants you to feel...

the head has to steer the heart. the heart is like a big furry beast, slavering and musty and wild, and the head needs to hold the reigns. or the shock stick, depending on how wily your heart is. wink

p.s.: hello again! i'm back. and rather familiar with your current problem at the moment. frown

comfort in strange things is good. well, I say it's good 'cause random things inspire me too.

I like to think that an ability to find meaning or solace in an event or task or thing that doesn't directly relate to you, is a sign that you're not so involved in your own life that you can appreciate perspectives outside your own.

And great, you just got "i'm on fire" stuck in my head, through Springsteen association.
