I am so excited about this battle wound... it was kinda scary at the moment, but now it's just so damn cool. I just wish someone had gotten pictures of me covered in blood.
Well, I dropped a shitty lab that was making me crazy, and I got a $.50 hourly raise at work.....and got to meet the ever-so-AWESOME KaliDoom!! So the last three days have made me a much happier person!!!!

While you might not be able to get away with that at a Red Cross clinic (if you try, let me know before hand so I can be there to watch... ), but if you know a nurse who would come to a set to do it there I bet you could arrange it. There have been blood-related sets before, but they have been destructive for the most part (cut your arms in the bathtub sort of thing), not helpful like this. A few artistic close-ups of the needle with you out of focus in the background and such, and a great opportunity for facial expressions.
And the only thing you'd have on at the end of the shoot would be your bandage, and the heart-shaped "I donated" sticker.
That would even be sexier as a double set, if your nurse was also an SG. There has to be at least one of the ladies on here that is qualified to do that, and would do that for a shoot...
I am now officially not going to be able to think straight for the rest of the evening...
About the work thing, there are very few people even close to my age (a *lot* of old-timers here). There aren't any other people here who have nearly the geek factor that I do (one of the main reasons I got the job is to bring that with me), and the few people who are my age are still pretty rooted in the crowds they went to local high schools with. I keep looking, but I don't think work is going to pan out. That's actually one of the reasons I joined SG (okay, the hot goth chicks was another one. ), was to meet different people than I do here at work.
