@radiofrank for real. I mean, I was so young when I started on SG. My photography skills developed largely because I was making content for my blog on here. I'm grateful that the SG contract didn't entitle them to the content I created for my blog, unlike a lot of artists who are forced to sign contracts that make their ideas and whatever they create thereafter property of the company. I was once acquainted with the guy who designed the Cuz dog toys. They made millions off his idea, and he was still having to work a conventional job because of a contract.
radiofrank:
Oh, for sure; that sort of contract would stifle a great deal of content/creativity (and in the case of your acquaintance, quite a bit more).

I discovered a great rapper by the name of Angel Haze the other day. I found this particular track powerful, but the subject matter tends to have that effect anyway. Her spittin' is tight. Check it!

@robertbluesman coincidence? https://www.urbandictionary.com/author.php?author=thomas138 Take the dick, that's a fate worse than death anyway.

I know a guy, who really needed this. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Sunday I went up to the Jemez Mountains with a dear friend. I had been hipped to this particular trail by another dear friend (the gentleman who made the previously blogged GOREGOUS obsidian knife). We've been experiencing monsoon season in the southwest. Those winds have brought some great storms, and because of that New Mexico is mad lush right now. I'm not...

Looks beautiful there

Yesterday I was exploring a rocky outcropping atop the Sandia Mountains when I stumbled upon roses alongside cremated remains. This little altar was tucked behind a small tree. Only the tips of the outer petals had started to dry, but the roses were still incredibly fresh.

@robertbluesman The remains were scattered in a pile in front of another rock they had purposely put there. It may have been sitting on top of something more aside from remains, but I didn't disturb it to find out. This was on top of the Sandia Mountains here in Albuquerque. @memorandom totally. It's amazing to consider our own mortality in that kind of long term timeline. Compared to a mountain, our mortality is less than a bugs by comparison. Makes ya wonder if the mountain had a perspective, or the harbor in your case, what it would be.

@robertbluesman It randomly popped up in my facebook feed months ago. I remembered it the other night and needed a laugh so I found it on youtube. Then I discovered the Korean show Infinite Challenge, and that gave me a bunch more laughs.

Nice 👍

When I saw the new topic suggested by staff for 'Blog Homework', this is the photo that immediately came to mind. I took this photo back in 2006 on a trip to Arizona. It was the first time I had flown any where on a plane, and the first time I'd been further west than Ohio. (I'm originally from Philadelphia.)

I ended up

It's a great picture. I have never seen a buffalo in person, it must have been an awesome experience.

Wow! #humbled 😊

Ok. So admittedly, I've been worked up the last few days.

When I get triggered into a PTSD episode I try to focus on some sort of productive activity.

I had gotten a pile of rhubarb a couple weeks ago at the farmers market. Then a couple days ago I found organic strawberries on sale at the grocery store; I picked up 4 lbs

When it gets to breaching a prior acknowledgement of NDA (No D’ks Allowed) it is NOT a “disagreement” rather a clear and present harassment on his part. You shouldn’t have to deal with it! Block and move on, he’s baiting you.

Strawburries and rubarbe, So nice marriage!

I just got back from an epic Albuquerque block party, though of course, they don't call them that here. Officially, it's one of a handful of 'Summerfest" (s) put on by the city. It's free. There's music. It's a pretty happening event. This particular one saw a large chunk of Central blocked off, a section of which was a classic
