I learned today that I was not admitted into the college of my dreams. Well, it's a good thing that I have two backups. However, one college (my third choice) wants my response on whether or not I'd like to attend by May 16th, while the other (my second choice) may not give me a response until June. So... Do I pay $150 and tell my third choice that I will attend just in case I'm not admitted into my second choice college? Or do I wait and hope to get admitted into my second choice and if not, be screwed because I turned down my third choice? And thus screwed and with no fourth choice college, decide to leave everything behind and move to Japan?
In other news, field biology and its lack of real structure is stressing me out. I feel as though my semester project, which is currently only five hundred words in length is inadequate. And that scares me because I, at the very least, must obtain a 'B'. Not only in this class, but in all of them.
Times like these, I wish I could flash forward a few weeks and have everything stressful be behind me. But life is just a series of problems to be solved. And if not solved, they eat you alive and you end up nowhere and going nowhere, and that's what I fear the most.
