So far, so good. I'm enrolled in most of the classes that I need to take this semester, the loan I applied for was approved and the money has been dispersed to the school, I have an interview tomorrow for a new job, and an appointment to see an adviser next Monday.

Well, I've made it. I traveled from one coast to the other, and it didn't kill me! Now I'm all moved into my dorm room and am thus far enjoying college life. I'm out doing what I wanted to - meeting new people, experiencing new things, being surrounding by a completely new environment. And I couldn't feel better.

I know my updates have become few and far between. I have been crazy busy. I know excuses, excuses.

I have been working just about every day, and the days I haven't worked (and on some that I have,) I've been running around to the community college to tie up loose ends, making and going to various appointments, leaving town to attend the new student...

Good news: I was accepted into my second choice school, and I immediately sent off my reply along with the four hundred dollar enrollment fee. Transfer student orientation is in July, I'll be moving there in early September.

Dilemma taken care of. I called the admissions office of my third choice college and told them my dilemma. In turn, they told me that the date typed onto my acceptance letter was more for my benefit than theirs, and that there is no real deadline to mail my decision by. Meaning, I can indeed wait to hear from the other university.
