I went out to dinner last night and when I got home went back to work and when I was getting ready to take a shower later in the night, I emptied my pockets and found that I had taken the wrong charge slip from the place, the one with the signature and tip. I called there immediately and a guy answered, and I told him what the problem was, it was the owner, a guy I havent seen in 12 or more years, he said that it was fine, he would take care ot it. He busted my chops saying that I was tipping her too much, we discussed it and talked about old times. I got dressed and figured what the heck, and drove up there to be sure it was taken care of. I saw the waitress and he had tipped her double what I said and offered my apologies. I told her myself and she said it happens once in a while but since it was her first table of the night she was a little pissed.
My buddy was there and we talked and he wanted to buy me dinner. I was there a few hours earlier but he insisted and gave me a steak dinner to go. I gave the girl another $5 for bringing it to my table.
