So!
My sculpture class is over. There goes my first actual college class, and I got an A. My professor asked me what grade I'd earned, and I said probably a B. Since I said B, she said she'd give me an A, but if I'd said A, she would have given me a B. Uh... okay! I'm cool with that. Next semester, I'm thinking Flash and JavaScript!
I'm reading a NONFICTION book! This is shocking, at least to me. Athenais, mistress of Louis XIV, the Sun King of France. Oooooh.
Also, I came up with one fantastic reason to make myself feel better about leaving my job. You know those annoying little plastic cards everyone has? Like the discount/reward cards? Well ours has had this weird system which acquires you free dog/cat food or grooming, and at the end of the year they're changing it to a full-out discount card. That's great for customers. That's horrible for the UPC Sign Specialist (moi), who will have to change those AND regular tags weekly.
AND! I am no longer a testimonial virgin! Thank you, thank you!
Whew!

i rescued this baby dove that fell out of a tree in my backyard when i was about 12. i fed it mooshed up cat food through a syringe, and it grew into such a sweet bird. "d" would sit on my shoulder when i was doing my homework. so cute. i eventually let him go, and he ended up hanging around the house a lot. *cries and cries
