I get to pick Chuck up at the KC Airport today! He's coming home for about a week before he heads to Iraq, or wherever the hell he's going this time. I'm on vacation, so I can hang out with him.
I woke up at 5. I think it's a combination of being excited about seeing my husband after a month and the fact that it's almost Christmas. I'm as bad as a kid about Christmas. It's been nonstop music & lights and movies. Jack and I have watched Christmas Vacation about 3 times in the past week. We watched Die Hard the other night. It is always in my list of holiday movies to watch. You can't beat Bruce Willis with a gun taped to his back with Santa tape for an entertaining holiday evening.

Incidently, I practically lived at KCI airport flying from and to St. Louis, from 1978-1998. It got to the point where most places knew me by name - car rental, gates, hotels, restuarants, etc.
