I'm beginning to freak out! I can't find a job. I can't even get interviews. OVERQUALIFIED!!! How stupid is that? I no longer want a job for which I'm qualified because I don't want to have a heart attack by the time I'm 50!
OK - the freakout is over - I'm good now.
I think my friend Rho & I are going to start a photography business for extra money. We will work on location, so we won't have rent to worry about. There are a lot of photographers in this town, but most of them are terrible. We can do that in addition to our regular jobs.
My most recent applications have been for a Legal secretary/receptionist and as an administrative assistant at a public radio station on the campus near my house.
I just want to work in an office & not have to take my job everywhere with me as I have before. No phone calls in the middle of the night because something went wrong with a negative, or the press went down at 1 am. No publisher screaming at me, no reports & memos from corporate detailing their idiotic plans to make even more obscene amounts of money while promises of raises and new equipment never come through. Ah, corporate life, I don't miss it at all.
I do, however, miss my husband, who is working out of town. He was to be gone a week, which turned into 2 because they had problems. One more day. He comes home tomorrow night. I look forward to seeing him,

Just finsihed a photo shoot last night with a 43 year old mom and have one of her pics in my latest journal. She's such a cool lady and so talented with her poses. She's still nursing her 3 year old so her breasts look a little "tired", but other than that, she's a knockout!
Good luck with job hunting and your photo business. Should be lots of fun!!
