Prom last night. Fun fun fun. Took my date to Blowfish Sushi beforehand and had some great food. Yummy seared scallops and melt-in-your-mouth albacore. We had lychee sidecar cocktails that were awesome! I have to figure out how to make them. Japanese whiskey, orange liqueur, lychee, and lemon juice; sugared rim, wedge of lemon. Just awesome.

Unfortunately, I think that my date didn't have much fun at the party. I think she kind of tolerated it, and I wonder if maybe I should have gone by myself.

In other news, my dad is now officially a cyborg vampire. He was already transfusion dependent, but now he has an implant (called a Port-a-Cath or port) so that blood and drugs can be injected straight into his system without puncturing his arm with the needle. Rad! Halb Wesen und halb berding.
