My apartment is as cold as hell, so I bought some $2 gloves to cut up and make fingerless.
Also, I need to drill a hole in the side of my brewkettle to attach a spigot. I got:
a center punch to make a dimple so the drill bit doesn't wander
a 1/8" cobalt bit to make a pilot hole
a 7/16" drill bit to make the hole
aluminum oxide sandpaper to finish the hole.
I don't have any cutting oil, so I might use cooking oil.
