OK. It's time to evict some of the bad holiday mojo.
A small family feud erupted early this week when most of my family cancelled plans at my aunt and uncle's place last minute. Our family isn't the most functional, but we've been doing pretty well recently, so we need occasions to reinforce that.
We spent the 24th at my brother's place. We ate garlic crab and had a small gift exchange. It was nice.
Yesterday I went to see Big Fish with mom. We weren't quite sure what it was going to be. It was a lot heavier than we wanted, but it was really great. My mom was just missing her dad a lot, and the night before we were talking about the tall tales her dad told. So it was definitely timely. We had some good Indian food afterwards.
I'm off work until the 5th, and I'm planning to get a whole lot done! Yippee!
