I used to know how to write in English, using proper grammar, punctuation and spelling.

Somehow, as I have gotten older this has slowly been erased from my brain.

Now I can't even remember the difference between your and you're.

I fail at being an Englishman.

Yes, yes. I typically have that view as well: the "take it or leave it" thing, where I am just a person like everyone else, and we all have our desirable and undesirable traits, and that someone fully rejecting me as a result of one of them is -their- loss, and their fault.

Except.

That would also be a fantastic excuse to be .. well, a total asshole. It allows it so easily -- maybe I'm just thinking that way to be convenient and go the path of least resistance, etc.

Not arguing. Just saying. ;]

I'm very confused about some of the strange politics of my home town.
