Saw the SG's at the Ottobar on Tuesday... have to admit, I was a little disappointed. I was expecting to see more skin. It's pretty bad when hot, half naked girls dancing around don't do anything for you. I think I've become desensitized. frown

I am happy to say that I will finally be starting cosmetology school in October at the Madison Institue in Westminster. My Oma has offered to pay for my tuition and my bills so I can go full time. I'm going to continue to live with my folk's, since it's so close to school and FREE! So watch out... I'll be looking for guinea pigs...

This is really shaping up to be the best summer ever! I'm spending my weekdays in Dundalk babysitting, my weeknights hanging out with my girlfriend and my weekends in Westminster swimming and relaxing in the hot tub! I've already been to OC with friends, to Wizard World in Philly and to multiple shows, drunken girl nights and parties! I've made so many new friends and...

One year and 15,000 miles on my odometer later and I am officially finished my fifth move. Not to mention, almost eight years to the day and I'm right back where I started... unemployed in Westminster, at my parent's house, in my old room and I couldn't be happier! The perfect opportunity for a fresh start! biggrin

well...I dont really have a "home" anymore, I grew up on the eastern shore, but when I moved out of my rents place, they moved to Richmond, VA. that was like 7 years ago and I've never lived in their new house, so i dont really consider that home.
shadeofgrey:
There's no place like home!

Why is it that when things are going good... which they are right now... it feels too good to be true? I'm so use to my life sucking, that I'm in disbelief when it doesn't. I'm just going to enjoy being happy and hopefully it will last for more than a moment. Keep your fingers crossed for me! biggrin

oh, and btw, if you get a chance, try to meet david petersen. He's writing this new kick ass indie called Mouse Guard, fucking amazing.

I had to drive to Woodstock today (yes... Woodstock, WTF?) to let a home inspector and clients into a property. It took like 45 minutes to get there, but it was a nice day, so I didn't really mind. I found the house, parked and got out of my car to hear a loud hissing noise... that's right, a flat tire. I checked it out...

Remember when radio use to be good? I decided to listen to the radio tonight, cause I usually listen to CD's and never hear any new music. My conclusion... most new music is shit and hearing "free FM" repeatedly makes me want to pay for radio and I'm broke!
sonicreducr:
sat radio is the greatest thing ever.
jamielee:
I very very rarely listen to the radio. This gag-reflex, throwing-up-in-my-mouth thing happens whenever I change the mode on my stereo from iPod to FM.
