And I'm off (like the proverbial prom dress)...on vacation! Starting Monday, true, but I'm getting in vaca mode as I type this. See you again in three weeks, when I'm back from touring Tuscany :-)

Remembering my Dad on this, the 20th anniversary of his untimely passing. While the passage of time softens any blow, it is still hard and a sense of unfairness remains. But then, life isn't fair, something I understand more clearly as I slowly approach my Dad's age at the time of his death.

Thank you for you compliments. It was an increasingly hard experience to lose the weight. It wasn't for the reasons that you might think. I found that the change in lifestyle was the most difficult part of it. I had grown up through most of my adolescent years playing video games and sitting around a lot. It was making the conscious choice to leave the comfort of what I had known for a long time that was most difficult. That and having to step through my front door every day to head to the gym. biggrin I suppose things have changed with my mind set. Thank you once again and I hope you have a wonderful day.
