@missy and @rambo's homework (actually for SGs only, I suppose) is to pick our favorite movie. That's pretty hard for me to do, being something of a film buff, so I'm going to cheat and list...just 10:

Singin' In The Rain (if someone held a gun to my head and forced me to name JUST ONE FILM, this would probably be it)... full disclosure: I...

...a nice hot cup of espresso with a shot of Sambuca; a regular "caffé corretto" :-) What do I care if it's rainy and windy outside when I can have the taste of sunny Italy. Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday...and for visual enjoyment, I highly recommend checking out lovely new Portuguese Hopeful @NAIF and her debut set STAY WITH ME

naif:
I don't know how to thank you.... <3
kaicito:
Not at all! You have brightened my Sunday, I should be thanking you!

...was just a city in Switzerland to me until today, when I was lucky enough (thanks to SG) to see the gorgeous young lady and soon-to-be SG of the same name. If you haven't checked out her debut set (and yes, that's pronounced "de-butt") IN MEDIA RES, do so now, and leave some love. And forget Switzerland!

While we were in Italy the other day, we couldn't help notice the upcoming (this weekend, actually) 50th anniversary of the creation of Nutella, which was first concocted close to where we visited, in the Piemont region of Italy. I'm not addicted to Nutella, and really don't it eat it all that much, but I did have a Nutella-laced coffee when we were in...

First full day after returning from Italy, and a full day it was, too. We bought what felt like several tons of earth to refill our balcony planters, also new grass (reed, not maryjane) since we managed to kill off the reed we had planted last year, plus a bunch of tomato plants and herbs. At last, our balcony doesn't look barren anymore! I made...

Here's a few more odds and ends (mostly the former) from our short vacation...

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan...the mother of all shopping malls, if by shopping you mean Prada, Gucci, Hermés and so on...

The great hall of the National Film Museum of Italy in Torino...

Dream house on Lake Como...

In Milano, even the Central Station is monumental...and crowded...

Me on a

@tali79 Me too! If I understood the (Italian) tour guide correctly, it was sold for some € 30 million or so. Me, I probably couldn't even afford one week's upkeep...
tali79:
For €30 million I don't like it anymore.

In case anyone missed me :-D here's a fewish pics from our city-hopping trip...don't expect any tourist-y pics, just a few offbeat ones.

Me in Torino, Italy...totally unposed in front of "some artwork"...

Still in Torino, about to enjoy a "Bicerin" - delicious concoction of layers of chocolate, coffee, and cream :-p

Clowning around with a friend in Beograd, Serbia...

In Bellagio, Lago di Como,

If anyone deserves to be pink, I think it would have to be @BERDIE and her new set IN MY CORNER should be the one to do the trick. She's proof positive that alt beauty comes in petite packages, too :-)

@arroia Your mind works in mysterious ways ;-) How's your bearded dragon, by the way?
arroia:
She's well, but she's refusing her veggies. So here I am, every single day, begging her to take a bite of some green goodness. I swear not even my cats ignore me as well as she does.

Celebrating today the 111th birthday of the one and only Bing Crosby. The average SGer probably remembers Bing, if at all, as a saccharine Christmas staple, but it's really difficult to overestimate the impact he had on popular music in the 1st half of the 20th century. He was a top draw on radio at a time when radio was the number one medium, he...
