Still pinching myself if this is a dream, but after a hectic Friday, I'm finally in vacation mode :-) Departing to the island of Madeira on Tuesday for a two-week break - so this weekend, I'm immersing myself in our travel literature.

Also, it's beginning to look as if my work may take me to Beijing for the first ever time this November, on which...

Had a "probably once in my lifetime" visit today from my Colombian cousin, Luis Miguel, who is spending a month here in Germany and swung by Berlin this weekend. Also, I don't get too see his father (my uncle) all too often, so we had a nice time together. I wish I were half as fit as he is :-)

Here's a little episode from this morning's metro ride to work... I was standing in a half-empty early morning metro car (I always try to stand, as I spend enough time sitting every day), when a short, stocky young man suffering from Down syndrome came shuffling down the aisle, looking just a little dishevelled and heavily cross-eyed. As he came closer, I saw him stop...

In which good old Uncle Kaicito rummages in his SG vault, only to find his life has been a complete and utter waste so far because he lived it without being aware of the gorgeousness that is @mckenzie :-)

So maybe, if my uncountable hordes of friends, fans and followers were to seek out and drop oodles of love on her most recent set, Some...

Ha, couldn't think of a more click-baity, misleading title! Well, fire does play a part in this post... went to a fire-themed event (billed as "labyrinth of fire") in our nearby Britzer Garten park, which was also the first time we've been there at dusk and beyond the standard opening times. All in all, it was not really spectacular, and my pics of the one...

@nanny had sexy debut set indoors, and now her new set in MR has her outdoors in a stunning Méxican setting. Go ahead and give this nanny's gorgeous sultry face and perfect body (pretty IBTs and generous hipsssssss) some love, you know you want to!

Tried out one of the recipes from last month's Korean cooking lesson - jeon or jijimi, a kind of pancake with mung bean sprouts, spring onions and kimchi in a light dough of eggs flour and rice flour. I guess the results don't look like much, but they're delicious when dipped in a soy and sesame oil sauce...and accompanied by beer (spanish cerveza in this...

It looks really nice. What's it taste like?
kaicito:
@Lalou It tastes a little bland, or maybe I was too conservative with the spice rack. But, they're nice with a spicy sauce made from soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil.

Today (and tomorrow), the German government opens its doors and lets the lowly peasantry enter Berlin's ministries, including chancellor Merkel's office. As a card-carrying libertarian and believing anarchist, I look askance at events like this...but it gave us a chance to tour one of modern Germany's most storied and historical buildings. A giant, sprawling building with some 2,000 offices and 5 miles of corridors, it...
