(After I typed what follows I thought it came across very pompous - telling you what you already know! Apologies, if that is the case. I wanted to comment but apparently I have nothing more insightful than the obvious to offer):  No site, club, or meeting place can ever be free of interpersonal politics and differences that drive wedges between people.  It's very sad, but a fact of life. :(

I'm pretty upset at Damsel leaving; she was one of the main reasons I joined SG in the first place. I haven't been here long, but I feel there's a lot going on behind the curtains that I'm unaware of, of which also seems to be eating away at this site...
