The Republican Party is bad for America, Full Stop! Except for a brief period during the run up to the Civil War, the Republican Party has done nothing for the average American citizen except try and hold us back. People often site the GOP Platform as already to support the Party, but the Partyvhas never lived those platform principles and history will bear that out!

The democratic party and republican party are both detrimental to society as a whole in the US. I personally don't believe that either support what their individual party lines are, and as long as lobbyists exist and are allowed to function, then in my opinion, there will never be any kind of properly functioning political party. All there will be is rhetoric. Now that I live in Greece, it's the same shit, just the whining is at a more intense level. You know what? I've determined all politicians in every country are like this. I do not see any purpose in participating in politics, except at a very local level.
