Looking forward to flying out to Bordeaux, France in about two weeks - we'll stay for about one week down in the Bayonne/Biarritz area, then spend another week or so in Bordeaux. Both places, for those not familiar with France, are in the Southwest of the country, on thr Atlantic coast and bordering on the basque region of Spain. Of course, the Bordeaux region is home to some of the most famous vineyards, and we just booked a wine-tasting excursion to the famed village of St. Emilion, as well as a wine-and-cheese tasting lunch in the city of Bordeaux. Any SGs or Hopefuls care to join me? ;-)

A thing on my bucket list is a Hot Air Balloon Tour of the Bordeaux vineyards. Chateau to Chateau. Have fun.

What about Australian red wines ;) Barossa Valley is where it's at. Hope you have a great time! Take pics, post them on blog etc etc
