I'm not sure how big the news of the German plane crash are in the U.S. and elsewhere... we here are absolutely shocked and dumbstruck, especially at the ever-clearer picture that emerges of the co-pilot intentionally crashing the plane for whatever reason. If true, and we may never know beyond conjecture, this would be so unimaginably evil or sick...the very thought of taking so many people with you into death. I don't know if I'll ever be able to step easily onto an airplane again (I've never liked flying) but sooner or later I'll have to. Anyway, today I really and truly am heartbroken for the poor souls on that plane. May they rest in peace.
