The first night we slept here - in our new home - we had not moved the beds yet or any of the furniture - we made a makeshift bed out of comforters and pillows and slept on our living room floor - we stayed up until 5 a.m. waxing philisophical - giddy with excitement over our new life - we had no idea we would come across this in the pantry:

The Logic stared at it with jaw sunk to chest as I laughed maniacally (i swear it had nothing to do with the booze) . He sings and dances like nobody's business.
How could the previous tenants leave such a treasure behind, we pondered. There was obviously love and care in the purchasing of said novelty item.
We are thinking of hiding him by the recycling and rigging a string to the "on" button so that when guests toss their bottles he breaks into song as he wiggles his fine brown arse...

HEY! I feel good....

We are off this afternoon to see Ani DiFranco and Jonatha Brooke among others at the dream festival today with our little princess who will frolic amongst the children's village - and serious thunderstorm threat - but hell - we're too punk rawk to care about any of that - onward christian soldiers...

That's an awesome first night! What a funny thing to find!

I love maine coon kitties, my Tunie is a full breed. Although she was the runt of the litter, and the breeders gave her away for free. She's the sweetest, best mannered, most loving cat I've ever had! I used to live in an old farmhouse that hosted some great stray families, too. I miss watching them throughout the year, they made great neghbors.
