There aren't too many more frustrating issues on this planet than sleep dsiorders and the lack of a body to keep a standard internal clock. Months of stress, anxiety, and confusion destroyed what I had left, so these days, I find myself either not sleeping at all, or not wanting to wake up at all....depending on the week.
And, of course, your brain needs to sleep to continue to function well. Maybe that's why insomniacs tend to be more creative. What many might see as a whacked out dream, some of us may see as a thought that's active enough in our heads as to give us some amazing fodder for art, writing, photography...and other things.
Have only hallucinated once, though, due to sleep. Damn you Power Puff Girls for forever ruining my road trip.
