I finally saw them last night. Like 11 years after the fact. Honestly, after last night I really don't see why anyone in the class of 2003 bothers -- they somehow managed to be devistatingly heavy, psyched out, punk-as-fuck and dancey in a totally convincing and, well, mindblowing way the entire time. I haven't felt like this after seeing a show in SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long. Like when I was in high school or something, seeing shows @ the old 9:30Club. It was like that. Totally transcended my surroundings and forgot place and time.

i kindof found, so far (i'm not done - i'm only around the aread from which that quote came), that it mocks the xtian thing a little.
'cept i'm seeing jane's addiction tonight and that makes me happy... then hanging out with a coworker, his wife, and her kickboxing instructor. hopefully a good time ahead - i have a bottle of some top notch vodka (rated better than ketel one at the sf thing) and they have a hot tub!
