a beautiful day outside.
I experienced it for approximately 20 minutes.
the studio swallowed me like a gnat in your mouth during your elementary school soccer game. a great great day. a full day of sounds, weird and conventional, and inventing a new way (for us, anyway) to make records. using microscopes and swords and horseshoes and hammers and batwings and crystal methane and heroine and quaaludes and the vibration of a puppy dog's tail and a bag of chips.

I love hanging out with sweet bizarre people. that's why I'm here. how else could I spend 14 hours inside a warehouse staring at ProTools, smoking cigarettes, putting chewing gum on hi hats...

I'm drained. I'm waiting for my horoscope and a fortune cookie from my favorite vegan chinese joint to conspire to make me finally leave this petri dish. I love the studio, I love my hood, I love my family and my friends (read: not my friendsters).

Keep the good ones close, my SG peeps. Keep them really close.

i think that i had a crush on john bender, but didn't feel as though i had a character in the movie...
so i was really glad when the whole essay thing was read because i agree that "each one of us is a brain, And an athlete, And a basket case, A princess, And a criminal."
