I noticed tonight that when I want to do group activities I come here but when I want to know how friends' days are going or week even I go to my FaceBook.
But with FB I know people are reading and genuinely care about the people they connect with there. Here you often wonder if it's being read. The live SG's, absolutely. But regular members? I doubt it.
Guess I've been thinking about it while I've been sick with nothing else to do but drink tea, stay wrapped up in a blankie and be on the net.
And the reason it came to mind is because at one point I actually decided to become much more involved here at SG. I post way more blogs. Take action in a good handful of groups. But I can't say it's helped to better connections. Except foo a few, and it was moved to FB.
