Speaking of ghosts though. Ever wonder about the ghost-like philosophical aspects of online communication? Two minds, two spirits, can communicate with one another instantaneously over time and space via the internet without physical contact. Like, me, a guy in New York, communicating with a German girl I've never seen in real life. No physical interaction, all via the mind through electricity. It's almost like talking with ghosts, talking with spirits. What if you were talking with a dead spirit? Talking with a literal ghost? Could you discern it from the living? What if I'm dead and my soul is embedded in a computer? How could you tell? It would make a good movie. A facebook ghost movie.

I don't think that it has something to do with you. I don't know a lot of other so called social media but FB surely is just pretending to be there for communication. In the end most people just want to be present themselves and show their worldshaking stuff but are not really interested in what others post or even to communicate with them. I've also observed that posts like "Good night" or "Have a nice weekend" get lots of likes, while witty or interesting posts merely get ignored.
