These days I got lots of compliments for my new hair colour. Mostly women, between 50 and 60yo. They tell me, how great it looks and that they're not brave enough to do it themselves, maybe if they were younger... And I think about that a lot. I don't feel brave at all for coloring my hair, even when it's green. What scares these ladies?...

I have many patients in my office who are over the age of 60 who have officially dyed their hair a different color. And I love when they do that and I ask them β€˜what madeI you change your mind to change your color?’ and they always tell me β€˜we’re not getting any younger.’ I think it’s the fear of rejection or judgment that they get from the younger crowd, but I’m all for it!

Hair color, like length is Personal choice. Too bad so many want to put their 2 cents in. Flown a freak flag since the '60's and in the '80's my kid sister was in the hair color of the week club. It is a handy filter, people who don't like your hair color probably don't like other things you do or like. Enjoy.
