Ladies what is an ideal first date for you? Please be specific. Like Coffee in the afternoon. Or a French dinner and an action movie. Do you want someone to go all out and spend lots of money (like most magazines say to do), or something simple? Either I'm doing something wrong or I really am that freaky and that ugly looking.

You shouldn't spend a lot of money. You should make sure to do something where it's easy to have a conversation. Take her to do something she really likes or that you really like, so you can share it. Maybe Don't bring her flowers...take her to the botanical gardens. Or the aquarium...or an art show or a museum. Going somewhere like that gives you something to talk about....to help move conversation forward if it gets stalled.
