Made with Procreate app, experimenting with special brushes.

Hello everyone, it's been a long time. Winter in Alaska is challenging for me as it has been all my life, when there is little daylight and much cold weather. The end of winter seems to be in sight with the brightening days, though the cold and the snow persists. My mood has picked up enough to

First blog in awhile, I’m finally beating this winter. Alaska was the coldest region on Earth the past month.

I’m working on art again, check out my progress on a Succubus from the game Diablo 3:

I’ve always been into mythical creatures so this has been a fun drawing so far.

Well, it’s February 14, of course that’s Valentines Day. For those who celebrate, enjoy

I have broken into a new artistic medium: 3D printed plastic. I received a 3D pen for Christmas and I have started learning the basics.

This is my first project, a butterfly. I drew the black lines from a template and filled in colours of my own design. I also added legs and antennae to the guided design.

I hope to get enough practice to

Hello and happy holidays to all!

I'm back!

I've been away awhile fighting the worst of my depression, which gets difficult in the winter here. I'm on the upswing though as I look to bring my art work and hobby back together! I received a 3D pen for Christmas and am looking to start out making Pokémon figurines.

Hello all!

I haven't gone anywhere. I'm going to try to keep posting as the seasons continue to transition. Followers know I battle depression regularly, and the past few weeks have been rather exceptional. After the autumn equinox in Alaska, days are getting darker very quickly, and for people like me, it is like adding lead weights to an already heavy burden on my being....

"Inktober 2019" is now the "31 Drawing Challenge."

I have said before that my art is often a coping experience for my mental health challenges. Life happened and I fell behind on Inktober.

That doesn't mean I'm quitting the challenge, I am just reframing it. I will finish all 31 challenges independent of the days of October, with the final drawing happening before the mid-November

No art tonight. Though art can be therapeutic, I really needed some time off tonight.

I got yelled at and threatened while I was playing Pokémon Go downtown today. It's actually the second time this has happened to me in less than two weeks. My PoGO raid group told me yesterday that a weird man was following the group around, making the kids cry in...
