Chick drummers.....DAMN. Gotta love 'em. I dated one once; she was too hard to handle(also had a little too much of a drug problem for my tastes). LOL. Anyway, I'm learning that chick chefs are even better. 
Cat and I headed up to my parents' mountain house for a few days. She's never been there, and we both needed to get away. I have the usual stress, and her grandmother passed away on Sunday (she basically raised her, so it hit pretty hard). While it can make one bored sometimes(lack of other people like me and such), I do so much enjoy the slower pace of the mountains. Taking forever to wake up, sitting by the fire in pjs, eventually making your way to lunch and such...good times. She's never been on 4-wheelers, so I took her out.
Funeral was yesterday, so that's why I haven't really been on lately.
Enough about me...how goes it, sir?

When you came into my life, it was like a curtain was pulled to the side and sunlight flooded a once dark and desolate room. And when you leave, I can only assume the curtain will fall back and cut off the light, plunging the room into darkness once again.

I must say The Soft Parade was a bit disappointing. They were having problems with the sound and it just made for a bad show, but you'll have these things.
