I'm starting to lose faith in the basis of human relationships. I treat everyone with more respect and attention than people give their loved ones. I want to have real relationships; to get to know the real person. I want to know their fears, insecurities, weaknesses, dreams, goals, and aspirations because I want to help them grow, see the mature, and grow with them through all aspects of life-especially the times where they need mental emotional and physical support. But apparently people don't want that. They'd much rather drink, smoke, and fuck for a night than what I give to people. The most ironic part is I show them the world as I see it. A raw form of life they would never imagine they would experience. And they truly thank me for giving them a new perspective and are "so glad they met me'". Utter fucking bullshit. They see me for the night and claim we'll become great friends. I've experienced this more than one person should. Irony is they felt something new and they love it- but just for that brief night. So I've really just given up on people as a whole.

My friends on SG are true real and honest friends. I view them honestly as my only friends. So from the bottom of my aching heart I say thank you to the core friends I have here. I wish everyone in the world were like all of you. Sad thing is is that will forever be a wish. The college scene and every one in it can go to the deepest fucking circle of hell.

Onc again thank you SG for making me feel welcomed, appreciated, accepted, and loved.

abjabber:
Compromise and understanding is a big part of relationships, as is flexibility. We cannot and will not always be on the same page at the same time with anyone. Reality and personal expectations will not always meet each other. My advice is to try to view the world, and others as they are and not as you expect them to be. When we judge the actions and intentions of others it's difficult to be objective and connect, in my view. Take care.
