Part of my job requires me to disable and lock user accounts when somebody is going to be fired. Unfortunately, the way this needs to be handled means that I am ALWAYS the first one to find out if somebody is going to be fired. Sometimes this makes me sad.

My start time has apparently been changed from 09:00 to 08:00. This makes me unhappy because I will have to spend more time in rush hour, and I will not get as much sleep. The only positive way to look at this involves the extra 30 hours of pay I will receive every month.

Wow, time really does fly by sometimes. Work has been relatively insane. I recently had the wonderful opportunity to rebuild a server, and that was a lot of fun. Thirteen hour work days are always a good way to make one appreciate a good friend. Although, I suppose it's even good at making one appreciate those friends that aren't so "good."
