Back to work today, and there's drama aplenty happening here. Makes me sick, and just want to quit, but they pay me too much, so I'll just be bitter.

Anyhow, Christmas was nice, Bullitt's rocking a nice new Nixon watch I picked up for him, and the kid got more crap than we have places to put it all. All things considered with what's going on in my family, it wasn't so bad- mostly because I didn't have to see any of them. And thank God for that. Apparently my Great Grandmother had a stroke right in the middle of Christmas dinner. Part of me feels bad that I wasn't there, but another part of me is so relieved I wasn't. Dealing with the trauma of having to see Grandma carted off in an ambulance isn't something I really wanted our 8-year-old to have to do on Christmas.

When it rains it pours, and I'm just trying to stay afloat....
