Ive always been the mom of the kid, never the "step" mom, and Im not sure how Id react if my sons biological father was involved with someone I didnt particularly like. Its gotta be so tough. Especially since the kids are so innocent and they have no idea why everyone fights and hates each other. It really has a negative impact on the kids when the real parents talk bad abt the step parents and vice versa. Im sure your man's ex woman is creating more problems for her kids by not working with you, but rather against you.

my experience at least around her knowing people is what gets you jobs for the most part some on merit alot on who you know.bugs the shit out of me cuz i didnt make a tons of friends here nor did my family enough to say "hey my kids lookin for a job"my dad got me one connection for a job collecting dead bodies, but i think i blew that oppertunity by saying how i didnt own any suits and i dont really like wearing them. haha. but i got my job by 1 being a good student and 2 connections through my school and i kinda hate getting jobs like that. i got one job based on merrit really and the guy didnt like me because i got mad when i was doing stuff i wasnt hired for and i wanted to do thing legally..but it seems when you know people you seem to get jobs.

Yeah, I have had jobs lost due to me not wanting to cut my hair, and things of that nature. Always kind of stupid, but at the same time, when one door closes, a more apporpriate one is opening. You just have to find it, I guess.
