Uuuuuggggggg....I feel like hammered shit! Drank too much Friday night, and did too much Saturday night..but it was fun none the less! lol We ended up going to a gay bar last night to hang out and saw some people there from Vanny's work so that was kind of cool. Then we came back to our house, us and two other couples, and got fucked...

Well, it looks like the job thing fell through. I met the guy once, and he rememberd me by my labret..sooooooooo, it's a no go...of course, he said it had more to do with the fact that I was such good friends with the people he worked with..but you know..that's just retarded..anyway, so it's back to the hair school plan...which I'll probably enjoy more anyway..it...

i was at a parade tonight
good time
caught some beads
met some peeps
checked out a decent bar
fun
it wasnt downtown though
ill probably avoid downtown unless i go early in the day and get a good safe spot ahead of time
i might go with my uncle to his buddys place a little uptown
where theres a balcony and stuff
but ill likely avoid bourbon unless im invited on a balcony or something too
bourbon isnt my cup o tea either
its cool
but
im not a drinker
and not a fan of the hip hop rap dance clubs
and theres a lot o them
plus
i have a gimpy leg
and strolling through thousands of people isnt my thing
id be stumbling all over the place
anyway
sorry about your job
im hoping to hear next week about a PR job at the New Orleans Museum of Art
i had a really super interview there friday
and monday im supposed to get a callback from Tulane Univ for a communications job
so
hopefully ill get offered both and take the best
i did like your self taken pondering pic
just had cool natural lighting
and was well framed
i gotta get some art for my book
i keep thinking about it and looking at photos more

my experience at least around her knowing people is what gets you jobs for the most part some on merit alot on who you know.bugs the shit out of me cuz i didnt make a tons of friends here nor did my family enough to say "hey my kids lookin for a job"my dad got me one connection for a job collecting dead bodies, but i think i blew that oppertunity by saying how i didnt own any suits and i dont really like wearing them. haha. but i got my job by 1 being a good student and 2 connections through my school and i kinda hate getting jobs like that. i got one job based on merrit really and the guy didnt like me because i got mad when i was doing stuff i wasnt hired for and i wanted to do thing legally..but it seems when you know people you seem to get jobs.
Well, last night went well. We ended up just ordering pizza and shooting some pool over at some other friends house. Then the new couple and us headed back to our house and drank some more and played strip poker...on the bed..until the girl ravaged me and the game abruptly ended..but you know hey..fun was had and that's all that matters! LOL She used to...

Yeah, I have had jobs lost due to me not wanting to cut my hair, and things of that nature. Always kind of stupid, but at the same time, when one door closes, a more apporpriate one is opening. You just have to find it, I guess.
I am going out tonight! WooHOO!! lol We're going out with some old friends as well as some new people to the area. I am really excited about the new people though...they seem like exactly what we've been looking for as far as friends go! A lot like us that is..so we shall see. We're just going for dinner as far as I know. Everyone...

Glad to hear you had a good New Years, and I hope the new friends work out!
As far as my New Years went, we had a party locally that went pretty well, with much booze. I didn't get horribly drunk, but I forgot how painful Tequila is and paid for that the next day or two

I have no energy...and no caffiene...and I don't eat sugar...so I'm pretty much doomed to dragging around all day..but on a good note, the guy that came out to look at the RV really liked it and wants to come back to crank it up and see what it's got! YAY!! I soooooooo want to sell that damn thing! I can start getting my tats...

burstandbloom:
reminiscing huh?
i keep tapes in my car- its the only place i listen to them
and i regret getting rid of some of my old ones
and i miss havinng the record player set up in the basement of my house - growing up - and playing the THriller record my dad had just bought
i used to have a Commodore 64 computer
that shit was awesome
and i remember getting a typewriter with a correction strip- and that was insane
i think im gonna lay kinda low for mardi gras
it is my first one
and im excited and all
but
im writing an article for one of the local papers on one of the tradional african american carnival groups - so ill probably hit their parade
ill probably hit the parades on the northshare - where im staying with my uncle
and on mardis gras day ill prbably tag along with my uncle to his friends who always rent a room with a balcony and food and shit- thats in Uptown New Orleans
but
i think ill avoid Bourbob Street
i know its crazy packed
and ill probably wait until i know more peeps to go down with
and have more money and stuff
nice pondering pic
who took that?

you know that novel idea you have wont work haha. there is stuff that you missed in basic photo. like changing the apature one was as opposed to the other like 8 everything will be in focus. 4.4 just what you focused on will be in focus and the stuff behind it out of focus.youve got a bitchin set up and you should really read the book. its gonna be dry for sure. but learning it and some basic will make you look better. its really not the camera its the operator. so if you can operate, people will say "wow thats the best looking ass cheek i think ive ever seen.....umm yeah it is"

yeah. if you dont know to keep the strap out of the lens you shouldnt own that camera. but yeah photography is really simple. its just basic rules really. 3rds apature shutter speed and iso and some very basic effects. with that you can do all kids of shit makes me wish i was back in photography. the best place was the dark room and developing film. you were trapped in a room with very few or alot of people it was fun alot of times haha.
Well..not a whole lot to say today...I was GOING to lounge around the house naked and practice taking pics with my camera..I've been reading the manual and have gotten to where i can take them from far away..but I'm still learning about setting the aperture and trying to figure out how to get enough lighting...the pics are set to the highest quality and they're still...

yes, that was sorta like a boss fight wasn't it? Hmmmmm
I related to the Balrog, I too have been thrown of a bridge by a wizard, lol.
That rocks that you and your step-daughter get along. My lady has 2 great kids that I would like to love like my own. I've always wanted a family, never a problem if it's pre-made. I'm meeting the 2 of them in March, I'm sorta nervous but excited at the same time.

Well, I have absolutely ZERO energy today. I went to a friends house last night to play bunko...it was so weird...I felt like I had finally crossed over into the land of the middle aged women who sit around and smoke and play bingo...only THIS was bunko..hehehe...close enough damn it...so naturally I drank a lot..oh, and I won too by the way...but we weren't playing...

This is true. I only worked two tables today and I got about $25 on those tables alone.
Well, it's very odd really...I had to take my oldest to school today because she missed the bus, so while I was out and about I decided to stop into Eckerds to pick up some much needed hair spray and styling gel...wayull, when I got up to the cash registar this bubbly elder woman who had been standing there chatting with the elder cashier lady...

Well I applied to the Academy of Hair today and I am so excited! I actually cut my step-son's hair the other day...my very first time to put scissors to hair...and it really didn't turn out too bad...I figured I had watched people cut hair enough to do a somewhat decent job..holding the scissors in one hand and the hair in the other was a...

wow what else can i say
Yeah, MS is pretty sad when it comes to things like that...I can think of a total of two "strip" clubs in the north half of the state, and neither of them are very impressive. And if you think Hattiesburg was bad, I live around Tupelo...it's frigging certified as a "Retirement Community"! I swear they start rolling up the streets when it gets dark. And there really aren't any clubs, just a couple lounges and restaurants that serve alcohol. I've really got to scratch up funds for college again, just to move back to Oxford, as college towns are the only ones that hold interest for me in MS
Now the clubs in Memphis are another thing altogether. I've only been a few times, but Platinum kicked ass. There's a few others that are good as well, then a slew of more...seedy...places, I suppose would be the word.
