drinking helps to distract.
but, i keep telling myself, if you let it become a crutch (again, and again...) then you just doom yourself to whatever fate genetics, circumstance, and your pathetic self-control have laid out.
yet.
i can't say no to "one more" drink.
and drunken oblivion is far better than the reality i must wake up to.
and i mutter, bitterly, that god in his infinite wisdom gave us a choice... and then, remembering that i don't believe in god, stumble off to invent one.
ah.
the beauty of being past the point of concern...
of course my tune will change on saturday. when i get evicted and can't even access this site...
but until then...
who gives a fuck?
