i woke up way too early today. but i think i went to bed fairly early last night, so it evens out.
going to see Against Me! tonight. one of my good friends (who i never get to see, being she's still in art school and works her ass off making stuff most of the time) bought me a ticket for my birthday last month. so i get to hang out with her, and that rocks. plus, both of us love this band, so i get to see them with someone equally as enthusiastic as myself... which, believe it or not, doesn't happen much these days. it's usually me up front jumping around, and my friends lingering around the bar. so yay. going to be fun. i can't wait.

in other news. i did get my pants yesterday. and got soaking wet in the process. whenever i decide to go downtown, it always rains. always. if i was smart, i'd start planning accordingly and bring an umbrella. the streetcar was packed with tourists, too. it took an hour to get down there, and 45 minutes to get back. grrr! but the pants are great. ended up buying men's, because the women's pants all look stupid. (i was tempted to say "gay" instead of "stupid" here, but after reading way too many threads on this site about how that is politically incorrect, offensive, and doesn't even make sense, i decided against it.)
also.
the baby next door has been making howling noises all morning. i want to dropkick it. it sounds like a cat. grrr.
and.
it is fucking cold in my house. the bedroom is warm, because that's where the heater is, but everywhere else is miserable and dank. yes, i said dank. and i don't mean the good kind of dank. another "grrr" for good measure.
