i'm taking off to the quarter to find my freind andrew. he's heading up the security at downtown tip's for Essence Fest. for those of you who don't know what this is... well, then there's really no way to explain the madness into which i'm about to descend. traffic is impossible for days. the streets are packed. there are lots of angry, screaming drunks. and lots of cops.
why am i going, then?
no, he's not expecting me. no, i probably won't find him. no, i don't have the money to hang out in the quarter.
