The sky was on fire this evening. By the time I reached the middle of downtown it turned into something more like sherbet. It was dark when I came out the other side of the tunnel. I left my home in the twilight, and so it's only appropriate for me to return in twilight.
I'm learning how to report to my co-workers, to inform them of what I'm doing, what I've done and what I'm going to do. It gives them an awareness of my schedule. It also gives them knowledge. However much they would say the opposite, knowledge is empowering, it makes them feel important.
I got a $10 Starbucks card from one of my coworkers for helping him with some furniture. I promptly went and spent part of it with my supervisor. He was feeling out of it. I don't think the coffee helped any.

tomorrow we have a movie date. i'm anxious for that. three years is such a long time. why just throw it all away because of some unhappiness. things will get better. we just need to lead separate lives for a little while and get our heads back on straight.
