So, as one might imagine, getting home after driving 17 hours isn't really conducive to anything other than sleeping. I slept, but it was really crappy sleep, as in the few hours before getting home, I drank two energy drinks--a Monster and a Sobe No Fear. They were both good, once you got over the fact that you're drinking an energy drink. It's amazing how quickly one's tiredness is masked.
I woke up this afternoon and immediately freaked out when I realized how much stuff I have with no place to put it. It's okay though. I started with what I could categorize: computer stuff (hence, me updating), laundry, and all the bedding that I can put away. Other than that though, it's all sitting in a big jumble in my bedroom. It's kind of disgusting.
I took my car into the shop to get the starter, battery, axle, oxygen sensor and possibly my transmission replaced. It should be buckets of fun. Although, I have the Corolla, so everything is okay. Rule #5 of owning an old car: have a backup car. I'm just glad that I got in without my axle seizing up, or my car not starting.
I found out just how much college cost me financially--I don't like it. Oh well, it'll get sorted out as quickly as possible. I really don't want to be in debt for very long.

Backup car? Interesting concept, I suppose. What about a backup for the backup?
