I will never get to hang out in cliques or clubs, or be wanted--because I'm not stupid. This is--what I have found--the critical component to being popular.
If one can seek and successfully receive popularity then they are dumb.
I went to a car show this weekend, and it was filled with dumb people. The "pre-party" was filled with a bunch of people, mainly one concentrated group of stupidity, that did not really understand the concept of respect, or common taste, or responsbility.
Cops showed up, and then left, and then came back, because of these retards.
The car show itself wasn't that fun either. It made me depressed because I won't have the connections that these people have. I won't get the 'cool stuff' that everyone models themselves after. I'm not a friend of anyone. No one comes up to me and says "heyyyyy" I'm always the one that has to go up and initiate conversation. It's alright though, because I understand that I have nothing to offer them. What do I have? I don't have connections, or a shop from which to offer discounts.
I hate cars and everything to do with them. I hate their drivers too.

You're a musician. Hipsterism, cliques-ville, and all that lame-o-rama bullshit were there before and will be there after... Shouldn't be a surprise to you, and you shouldn't let it get to you either.
