BTW: Thanks for all the comments on-and-off-site reassuring me that I am, indeed, not failing as a good human being.
Well then. I guess that's that.
I actually worked on my lab reports today. I was terribly worried that I wasn't going to get anything accomplished today towards that, but I did! I was amazed with myself. Especially after the rough start I had this afternoon (I knoww, I'm an ungrateful slacker).
I woke up bright and not-so-early, rolled out of bed and turned on my computer. Within instants, I was flooded with IMs and I couldn't handle it so I went to play Half Life: Deathmatch. I beat the single-player game yesterday, right before the heartbreaking the football team suffered to USC.
I've been playing it a bit since then--it's still in "beta" or whatever, so there are some maps that have some glitches that ought to be fixed.
I've noticed that I use "should" when I ought to use "ought". I caught this from the brilliant grammartariant, Venice. It' just sounds better and is more correct.
So, after I got out of the shower, even before I got dressed, I was flooded with more IMs, including this jokebot thing where it is a computer. I got really frustrated at it and started swearing. Punked! But, it's good.
On not-so-good-news, Ms. Kitoushi and I had a temporary falling out today (When don't we?) I made a dumb comment about her taking a nap in her roommate's bed on Friday. She's held a grudge with that since. Basically, I got angry at her for being grudg-y, and she told me "She doesn't need me any more." So, I guess I just thought. "Well, maybe she doesn't," and told her that I won't speak to her for a week. We'll see where that gets us. Mike, and Dustin, my roommates backed me up on my comment that it was perfectly instinctive, and that--had they been in that situation--they would have said the same things.
It was hard to do, because I really do love her as a person, but I think that we must just reset ourselves and start over again. Hopefully we can find a dynamic that fits.
But hells fuckin' yeah. I got my car fixed, and I got my paycheck from my painting job over summer, so I have cash, and a car, and all sorts of goodies. I have been severely lacking for food though. Our apartment is void- of Hotpockets-owned food. Shopping tomorrow? Nah.
I need Christmas present ideas, let me know what you all want.

We really like our location. And this one is like one block down.

I just wanted to stop by and thank you for your well-articulated comments on my set, I appreciate them a lot. I also noticed the affection for Gursky on your profile - nice.
