I've been craving financial stability a lot lately. Not only just in terms of money, but assets and material goods.
I know that it's "bad" to be materialistic here, but seriously, money makes things happen, and if you have enough of it, you don't have to worry about it as much, and you can then enjoy the less financial aspects of life.
Material things I've been craving lately:
A new car with leather seats.
A house with 4 bedrooms and 2.75 baths or something similar, 3000-3500 sqft, two storey, with a basement/garage.
I'd actually like the garage to be pretty extensive, but stull underground or below the house. One big thing is having the house face the street, not cower behind the garage door. I'd want about a 1500sq ft garage with a lift and room for a few cars. Maybe there could be a "normal" two car garage, but the whole floor sinks down to a lower level with a bigger workspace in it.
I saw a Porsche 996 Turbo (996 is this current generation of the 911, don't worry, it's the real deal). I just about broke down to become a lawyer so I could get behind the wheel of my own new 997 (or 998) when I'd be able to afford one.
I want a white marble sink. Plain white sinks are just too... white.
I want a professional quality digital camera, and learn how to use it. I would take my 997 and go out to places and shoot wonderful photographs.
Hopefully, I'll know how to work on cars and I can do that for a living in some capacity.
I want to teach my child (not right now, it's just waaaay too early) how to play a musical instrument, it might be bass, but I was also thinking drums.
I want there to be a basement room with bathroom in my house. So that when my child comes to that age, they can move down there and have some freedom. Don't worry, I'd still interact with them, but I just want them to have some privacy of their own too.
I'll still have the silverware that my mom gave me for college. That's not going anywhere. As well as most of the plates that I have. Tempered glass rocks.
Nail clippers. I have a pair of wire-cutters/side-cutters that I use to cut my nails. They were my dad's, and now mine. They're about a quarter-century old, but they're still good as new.
I want another bass guitar. Until my child moves downstairs, that room'll be the studio. My wife will appreciate music.
I will have a job that makes me famous in my field, but no one really knows who I am unless they are in the field or do some research. I don't want to be known to the general populous.
I should go to bed soon. I'm lookin at the screen like it's about 10 feet away and my arms are really long. But the screen is really clear still.
It's weird good night.
Listen to: Gwar's "Fucking an Animal"
And: Golden Earring's "Radar Love".
