Oh man, so I'm totally going to update:
I since last talked to you all on THURSDAY, man, that's like, super long ago. So anyway.
EE class at night was super awesome, we learned about these cool things called MOSFETs (They're little tiny things that do whole bunches of stuff, they're in everything you touch). But yeah, that was exciting, and I went with a couple guys to the SEAS computer lab and watched my professor run a PSpice circuit. I'm so in love with Kaiser, it's the man when it comes to EE.
I come back, am totally behind in the preparty for Sigma Pi that night, so I try and catch up with some whiskey. Apparently this is shocking (
?) to my roommates, and they documented me taking a shot of Wild Turkey. Whatever, it was good alcohol, better than their beer. They're really wusses. Hard alcohol is so much easier than beer.
So we're done prepartying, and I go over to Sigma Pi, and it's totally lame, so I leave early, go home and do some photoshopping. Kewl.
Friday holds: THE WORST JAPANESE ORAL PRESENTATION EVER. I seriously froze up two sentences into it. I hate that. I just walked out and threw my picture in the garbage. I was so angry. I went back in, grabbed my backpack and left for good. I just couldn't take that. But, obviously, I couldn't just go home and forget about the day, cause I had shit to take care of. First, I had to bitch at Campus A/V (yes, they're exactly like the high-school equivalent) about our History classroom and microphone feedback. They're goddamned bureaucrats. I told them exactly what they needed to do, and why it was, and they just "have to test it for themselves to make sure they can figure out the best solution to the problem." Whatever, they're not going to do anything about it. I hate them with all my heart. They just sit there and don't get anything accomplished. Fuckers, just plain and simple. Sorry for the strong words.
Then I go turn in my time sheet for AAP, and go home.
And what's waiting for me there? Obviously my paper. So I WRITE THE WHOLE THING in one night. Cause I had to restart it because my draft-1 was totally crappy and unorganized, so I rearranged it and it's pretty good.
That night, I go hang out with some friends. So I rescue Jessica from the needy clutches of her best friend (who acts like a jealous boyfriend, but he already has a girlfriend of his own, it's really retarded how he acts towards her). We go over to Aaron's who she really likes a lot. We start off watching some TV, but we then decide on listening to some comedy -- Mitch Hedburg "The CD Jokes." Hilarious. So we decided that we should do that every week, so next week, I'm bringing over Denis Leary, or Bill Hicks, if I can find a complete CD of his.
It's really exciting, everyone is looking forward to it.
This weekend was pretty dull, but it was still good. I did laundry, and my desk is much cleaner than the pic that I posted a while ago. I watch Better Luck Tomorrow on Sunday night. It started off really well, but then it just totally bombed about 2/3 the way through, it sucked after that. I was really angry, and on top of that, I forgot to make my bed again, so I climbed into bed with the lights off, and realized that I needed to make my bed first, so I had to get down, turn the light on, and then get back up and make it, and I was just angry about BLT, so it was bad. But I realized from where the plotline was familiar. Dr. Faustus, by Cristopher Marlowe, good play. By the end of the play, you just can't help but pity the poor son-of-a-bitch (Synopsis: Accomplished academic sells his soul to the devil for 21 years of power, he squanders it, and then goes to hell). It's really just like that, but with A+ Asian-American students in Southern California.
Oh well.
TODAY was fucking amazing. History was kewl, we talked about Social Darwinism and Marxism. I aced my Japanese test (which I did in pen, which makes me feel badass). I walk out of Japanese, everythign was so brightly colored, it was amazing, seriously. It was like...green, blue, red, Powell Library was like "Bam" I just was floored by the colors
I go to the PICL (Physics in Computing Lab) and dick around on AIM and teh intarweb. I talk to Mr.Golf from VWVortex, and we find out that it's perfect for me to hitch a ride with him to Vegras for the Vegras Keggar International '04. So, I'm gonna do my EE final, then he's gonna pick me up, and we're gonna go to VEGAS BABY! Sweet. That made my day.
And... his car is freaking sweet. It's got a full Porsche interior (yes, Venice, you can drool), and a custom painted engine, it's just a badass vehicle. So, that's cool. I've kind of made some friends on here and Vortex, and I'm really looking forward to meeting Molonel, Brad and Dan from Vortex, EvilKelly, and VegasJetta, and if I can get out there, 92vr6jetta from Utah. Yeah, it's good stuff. (heh, all of their nicknames are car stuff, I guess that's what happens when you are in a car community)
I watched Donnie Darko this afternoon, not really the greatest afternoon movie, but AWESOME nonetheless, what an amazing concept and execution. It was cool. Although a little sad at the end (obviously) I want to watch it again. My next movie is gonna be The Pianist, which is on my comp currently.
So yeah. I decided I need a second monitor and another Hard Drive, so that'll be a little cost, but I dunno, I can find something I assume, we'll see. The HD I want is only $100.
So, is this good to sate your needs for Hotpockets-world for the time being?
This is for Mle I can't tell the difference, honestly...
Goddamn, mo'frakkin:
Listen to: Dilated People's "This Way"
And: The Thievery Corporation's "Sun, Moon and Stars"

No, representation theory is definitely not that happy. But other things are. Life is, I suppose, at the moment.
