So, I helped my roommate, Chi, make this banner for the IEEE at UCLA's 40th anniversary, and apparently the president of the thingy-whatever has extended an invitation to go to the anniversary banquet with Chi as well, so I get to dress up or something and go have lunch at a fancy hotel thingy. I like how that works out. Besides, I can use my L337 Photoshop skillz for mad-utility. It's great, so the banner is like 90 Mega-Pixels, it's freaking retarded-huge. Just selecting an area on it lags my computer for a good second or so (don't even mention doing a filter). I like my computer don't get me wrong, it's pretty much instantaneous for anything with reasonable dimensions (5MP or less). Dustin on the other hand, has to wait a second for a line-tool to be processed, and for layers to be merged, it's a good 5-6 second delay.

Anyway,

molonel asked to see what one can see from where they are right now. Here's my shot (beware, it's a 1.1MB file, so it might take a while on 56k, broadband is so delicious, like a marinated steak and a caesar salad).

It's an impressive collection. It's good that he caught me at my peak, cause I'll probably be cleaning it next weekend, before I whore myself out for a ride to New Dimensions, a VW show in Southern California. I dunno how I'm gonna get there, but I'll probably find a way to go .

I can't wait to get back to Oregon, because:
1) It's Oregon, and Oregon is cool.
2) My friends are there, not like I don't have friends there, but I like my Oregon friends, and I miss them terribly
3) My dub is there, and I want to start work on it, and register it, and drive it, and take 2) around 1) in it.
4) It's not UCLA, and I've been around here for too long. I need a break.
