Ah, the worth crisis. I have those a lot.

I'm having one of the "I just hung out and now I'm sure I made an ass of myself and everything thinks I'm an obnoxious idiot" crises. They're fun too!
sen:
She's got a point...
Ya got yerself edjacated and had some good times along the way, right?

Well, wow, what the fuck just happened?

Friday was awesome, and so was Saturday:

I went out to Jantzen Beach Friday morning and I rowed around a harbor for a couple hours. That was freaking awesome. Then I went to BFE, Oregon and hammered stakes into the ground. This is what life is like with the survey crew at my company. It's wonderful.

I was...

I need to move out. I need to go to the city. Suburbia is driving me nuts, literally. The whole concept of suburban living is car-centric. When the car-centricity of it fails, then we have a problem. There was a problem today. Traffic. It was the first time it got to me in a long while.

Anyway, it's ridiculous to have so many people trying...

Interesting. That means that for the price of my monthly rent, I could buy aproximately 57 square inches at those condos. Good to know. That's about enough room to stand, right? On one foot?
arcanite_pdx:
It's Da Munk

You and Venice need to find a place together. Close to my work. wink

A good man once said:

Just for love nothing more nothing less only love

I think I'm beginning to realize that.

Some opportunities must be seized right here, right now. For love though...sometimes you just gotta wait.

so who said?
I think i might agree with it.

Except that I was legitimately sick this week too. Even if the physical wasn't quite as bad as most people would stay home for, I think that having breakdowns and crying during your lunch break is a fairly decent reason to decide you need a day off. I'm not going to make a habit of it, but I'm really glad I did it today.

Hot diggity dawg. Nothing like some communication to clear shit up. Communication works better than Oxy-pads for clearing up blemishes.

Today was fairly good at work. I was pretty 'productive'

I got my bookshelf, much to Venice's family's approval (it's been sitting on their porch for the longest time. I had to ride my bike to the MAX station to get my car afterwards....

I was so not expecting that...

It really sucks when you say to yourself "I'm going to take a 'me'-day" but then have things hanging over your head making it totally worthless to do so.

I need to ride a bike more--it's good stuff.
hypnogogic:
I hear ya. My poor bike just sits outside my office, mocking me.

Who listens to the listener? whatever

No really, I like being an afterthought.
venice:
The super-listener.

What's up?

Fucked in the head--fucked in the heart.

I'm doing alright mentally, but emotionally and physically I'm just getting sapped every day. It's kind of insane. I'm coping, and dealing with it. It's just frustrating.

My office has a Powerball pool, this weekend's pool has close to 200 tickets, so we're bound to win something, right?
tiffanymarie:
definitely. what's going on with you? everything okay, from the sounds of it, no.
sorrowsjoy:
*hugs* Hang in there sweetie and keep moving forward kiss It will pay off.

So, I'm basically attaching myself to one of the engineers at my firm. He's a really super-cool guy. He's definitely an engineer though, and he spends just a little bit too much thought on the engineering process and stuff, so he's got that dorky edge to himself. He's a great teacher, though. He really tries to cover all the bases when he's showing me stuff....

Engineers are good people. Dorks, but good people. My sister was one before she decided she wanted to take a 50% pay cut and go teach math to snotty junior high kids.

I know. blackeyed

I slept horribly. And my headache never went away. And I'm still pissed off that it wasn't Friday like I thought it was.
venice:
I took a nap at lunch time. I thought it had helped. I just didn't sleep well. My brain is fucked up. It wasn't the drinking or anything, I don't think. Just, things aren't right...

Well that was really good.

I got the call from hypnogogic just as I was leaving my building after work. That night was gonna be good. So I had a good conversation with a lady that also works in the civil engineering field: It made the MAX ride all that much faster.

After I got home, I took a nap, which ended up being way...

I was supposed to leave my house about 45 minutes ago--but... my alarm didn't go off. I was really tired. Anyway, I'm eating myself (in name only) and gonna hit the road to see Hypnogogic et al

Ah, so that's where you are... Lame. You'd better come get me on your way, yo.
