first set of grades for my new class. grading scale is as such:
1= poor
2= below average
3= average
4=above average
5= exceeds student expectation

ive got almost all my garnishes done, just need to make chocolate straws tomorrow.

ive been graded on my creme anglaise (5), creme caramel (5), creme brulee (5), bread pudding (5), and whole chocolate decadence (4). was docked a point because there were some marks in my ganache -meaning it had cooled too much while i was still decorating.

here is a photo of my finished creme brulee. my stupid ass forgot to take photos of the bread pudding and creme caramel.

i think i will replate a bread pudding tomorrow jsut to have a photo of it, as i have two more there still. i tossed all the creme caramel (cause i dont like flan..eww...)

i have been very productive today. i think i'm ahead of everyone else, having gotten three things presented today. there are people who havent presented anything. i feel bad for one of the girls in my class though. we have worked together a lot in past classes. she wasnt in class thursday or friday last week.. found out why today.. her house was broken into. i dont know how bad, but i assume really bad... shes so stressed and upset. =[
