Landlord texted me today saying that she has someone coming to look at the place tomorrow at 4pm, so she saw the letter and actually listened to me when I said I prefer to not be contacted.
I was so ready for a show down.
I did not want one, but I was prepared.
Now we just cut ties cleanly and done.

Took Eddie to the emergency vet in Avon because he is locked up so bad he can't move...and peed all over the blanket he was sleeping on last night.

Too bad, I understand your frustration. They never seem to know what's wrong without a multitude of tests which ends up costing you big money. The only thing I can suggest is to take it one test at a time. IE, I let them do the first one, then get results and see what they think. Only then will I consider a second one etc..

Also, don't know about Conn, but here in Mass. the rules / laws / everything are severely stacked towards the renter and not the landlord (I know this because my grandfather then uncle was a landlord of a place).
She is probably hoping to scare you into paying rent.
She will have to take you to court to try to get the money and just make sure you keep her letter stating she won't let you out since it proves she got your letter giving her 30 days notice.
With mine (cause I was dealing with a crazy bitch). I even got a PO Box for two months. I had all my mail sent there instead of the new house. I didn't want them to know where I moved to.
